Miami Masters Men's Singles Final

The big winner of the 2009 Miami Masters Men's Singles tournament will be decided today, April 5, 2009, between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. The two players reached this last stage of the competition after some excellent matches against world class rivals.

Andy Murray has rejected Argentinian star Juan Martin del Potro, in the semi-finals, after a noisy 3 set battle. Andy had no major problems until the semi-finals. He won all other matches in straight sets, with a comfortable margin.

Murray vs Djokovic is a match between the 3rd and 2nd seeded players at the start of the tournament. This is the first big final of the year that misses the World Number 1, Rafael Nadal. Any result is possible although Murray seems to be the favorite of this encounter.

Novak Djokovic has finally played a great tournament. The Serbian failed to defend his Aussie Open Grand Slam title and also missed the late stages of the Indian Wells. Djokovic seems ready today, for his first title of the season.
